It is so exciting when the more you learn about something you like, the more you fall in love with it. I adore essential oils. Young Living essential oils that is, and Young Living as a company in general. The more I use them the more I want to learn AND the more I want to share. So, let me take a few moments and do just that: Share.

Let me start with my passion for essential oils. Passion? Yah, I get pretty excited about them. Essential oils are my first “go to”. They have many benefits. We use them multiple times a day in many ways. We add a drop of Orange Vitality, Lemon Vitality, or Grapefruit Vitality to our water. We diffuse different combinations all day long. My kids pick lemon as their top favorite to diffuse; it smells clean and fresh. I have a hard time picking one favorite. Lime diffused smells like summer and uplifts everyone’s mood. Lavender diffused at bedtime helps everyone calm down and snuggle in. Peppermint diffused helps promote focus while doing our schoolwork. We also put oils on topically. Frankincense can be used to help smooth the appearance of healthy-looking skin. Thieves can help support healthy immune function. Pan Away can be used after a workout to help relieve sore muscles. There are many more oils with many more uses.
Young Living offers over a hundred oils between singles and blends; there are oils that support and promote wellness in many aspects.

When I began my journey with essential oils, I started with Young Living oils. I am so glad that I did. I don’t have a ton of knowledge about other oil companies, as I do learn more about other companies though, I appreciate Young Living even more. Young Living is a fantastic company in many regards. They are trustworthy and very reputable. They have a unique Seed to Seal process that ensures the quality throughout the entire process of making each and every bottle of oil…from the highest quality seeds, growing conditions, processing techniques, all the through the sealing up process.
I would STRONGLY urge you not to purchase oils at the grocery store or even your local coop. The regulations on essential oils are slim. The only requirement to call something “pure essential oil” is that 5% of the bottle is essential oil. The rest of the oil or whatever may be in the bottle can be junk. This is why I trust Young Living. They are transparent and allow everyone to see how they produce their product. The ingredients in their products are 100 % pure. I just got this book for Christmas and it’s beautiful. It’s more of a picture book with the captions sharing all the details. If you want to know more about the quality and process of Young Living, this would be a great resource …and pretty enough to be a coffee table book. D. Along with essential oils, Young Living offers many other fantastic products. The Thieves cleaning products are out of this world. Make a bottle of organic, toxic free cleaner for about $1 a bottle. That’s pretty awesome. Knowing you wash your kids’ clothes in Thieves laundry soap allows you to know they aren’t in constant contact with harmful chemicals against their skin.
