We’ve never really had much for a nice, lush, pretty lawn. The reasons for that have been time and priority, but also not being willing to fill our yard with yucky dangerous chemicals.
Paying lawn services to fertilize and kill weeds in people’s lawns is becoming more and more popular (and crazy expensive). It’s disgusting and gross. I can’t even handle it when I walk the dogs and yards have just been sprayed. I appreciate the effort for an attractive yard, but not at the cost.
